The Poplar Miniature Railway is a family-friendly miniature railway at Poplar Nurseries in Marks Tey, near Colchester. The railway runs through the landscaped gardens, with the 350-yard line taking around three minutes to complete. It is suitable for all ages, although it is particularly popular with younger children.

Train rides
The railway runs around the gardens, passing features including Orchard Curve, a tunnel, Cottage Crossing and Folly Bank. Steam trains operate on some days, while a diesel train may operate on others.
