“Next to Chelmsford Museum”

A child-friendly museum (Museum of Chelmsford) sits inside Oaklands Park, alongside two separate playgrounds in beautiful, spacious grounds. The larger playground has climbing frames, a slide, tyre swings, a nest swing and a large fallen tree trunk for climbing. The smaller playground has a castle/knights theme with a large climbable mound and tunnel, slides with climbing frames, swings, a zipwire, climbing equipment, ride-on equipment and a ‘dungeon’ – only accessible equipment is a merry-go-round. Free parking (2 hour maximum).
