“A free, local play park in Rayleigh”
A large open space close to Rayleigh high street with a small children’s playground and a skatepark at the edge (King George V Playing Fields). Enclosed, mostly grass-based playground: a large climbing frame and a smaller toddler one, slide, ride-on equipment, roundabout, sensory activity boards with mirrors, and an in-floor trampoline. The skatepark has a big variety of obstacles, ramps and pipes on smooth concrete, suited to all ages. No car park (nearest is Webster Way). No catering; public toilets with baby change on site.
