Great Notley Country Park

Home to a 1.2km play trail loop on accessible, buggy-friendly paths, expanded in July 2026 with new KOMPAN equipment: an agility trail, a pendulum swing, sand play equipment, sensory boards and a 12m rope bridge, plus improved access to the sand play area. The trail also still has climbing frames, swings, a zip wire, seesaws and slides, and a smaller toddler area with little wooden houses — equipment spans all ages. The water play area and climbing forest sections remain closed (confirmed as of July 2026). The Sky Ropes high-wire adventure course runs on school holidays and weekends only (closed weekdays in term time): Adventure £12pp, Junior £4 per child from age 2. A cafe inside the visitor centre offers a limited selection of cold food, drinks and ice cream, with toilets (including accessible and baby change) inside — there are no other toilets along the trail.
