“300 acres of ancient woodland, lakes and a musical-themed playground for the whole family”

300 acres of ancient woodland and a large lake thick with ducks, geese and swans (fishing available on the lake), with woodland trails that are buggy-passable but not fully accessible. The musical-themed adventure playground near the visitor centre is a highlight: musical instruments, a sand play area with wooden sculptures, balancing logs, climbing walls, rope climbs, slides, baby and nest swings, and giant chairs with slides, all enclosed with picnic benches inside. A small visitor centre/cafe serves hot and cold drinks and sandwiches (outdoor seating under pergolas only, no indoor seating). Toilets are next to the visitor centre.
