A children’s playground next to the mainline railway (popular with train-mad kids), with free parking at the Village Hall. Several separate play areas: an enclosed sandpit area with climbing frame and slide for little ones, plus swings, slides, an assault-course style area with balancing equipment, and a zip line. Also an outdoor gym, a pond and large playing fields with plenty of benches. No catering (occasional ice cream van); toilets on site.
