“Woodland setting”
Vast, beautiful ancient woodland, lovely for bluebells in summer, with a large children’s playground near the car park (paid Mon-Fri, free weekends/bank holidays). Mostly wooden equipment on a grass and sandpit area: climbing frames, balancing poles, rope climbing equipment, slides, metal climbing equipment, ride-on equipment and various swings, plus a newer slide-and-zipwire combination. Suitable from toddlers to older children. Enclosed with seating; can get waterlogged in winter. Only accessible equipment is a merry-go-round.
