East Beach Playground
“Beachside play area”
A quieter stretch of the Southend seafront at Shoeburyness, mixed sand and stone, popular for crabbing and beachcombing. Recently refurbished toilets and a new child-friendly cafe. Currently one large climbing frame with slide, suitable for 3+, old but in good working order — a new inclusive playground catering for neurodiversity and physical disabilities is proposed. Paid council car park directly behind the playground. Dogs allowed 1 Oct-30 Apr.
