“574 acres of historic parkland with a castle-themed adventure playground”

A castle-themed adventure playground within the wider Hylands House Estate, best reached via the Greenbury Way entrance. Three closely grouped play zones cover different age ranges: a large wooden fort with ramps and ropes to climb, slides of varying sizes, a smaller climbing frame and ride-on animals for younger children, plus a good range of swings including tyre and nest swings. Accessible provision includes sensory and sound equipment, a nest swing and ramps throughout. The playground is unenclosed, with benches and picnic benches nearby, and toilets (including accessible and baby change) sit next to the car park. Dogs are allowed across most of the estate but not inside the play area. There’s a cafe on the estate near Hylands House itself — a short walk from the playground rather than right next to it.
