520 acres of parkland and trails, a favourite with dog walkers, and home to the Stick Man sculpture trail based on the Julia Donaldson book. An enclosed deer park lets visitors feed the resident deer through chutes, using food bought from the on-site cafe for £1. Two unenclosed play areas: one by the car park with baby and nest swings, a sand area and a stony balancing zone (best for under-10s), and a second across the lake for ages 4+ with balancing equipment and a challenging climbing frame with a large slide. The visitor centre near the main car park has a cafe (10am-3:30pm Mon-Fri, 9:30am-3:45pm weekends) and a small gift shop selling Stick Man merchandise and duck/deer food.
